Throughout the Online Application Process, we'll need some information about you and the joint owner if there is one:

• Name
• Social Security number
• Driver's License or State Identification Card number
• Home address

You will also need to tell us how you would like to fund your account: by check, direct deposit including wire transfer, or by an external transfer from your account at another bank. To transfer your initial deposit from an external account, you'll need:

• The account number
• The name of the bank or financial institution
• The routing number, which can be found on your checks

Accounts must be opened with funds not currently on deposit with Bridgeview Bank Group.
Just follow these steps to set up your new account:

• Tell us about yourself and the joint owner if there is one.
• Choose the initial deposit amount.
• Review your answers and the account agreements.
• Set up the link to your external account, if applicable.

Account Validation Process

Customers using electronic funds transfers to open a new account must first validate the account to complete the process. Your account is ready to be opened but there is still one more step - we must verify the link between your funding account and your new Bridgeview Bank Group account. 

Steps to Validate Your Account

1. Click the Validate Account button below.
2. Enter your E-mail address and Verification Code.
3. Follow the directions on the subsequent pages where you will be required to enter your test transaction amounts. This will verify the link between your funding account and your Bridgeview Bank Group account has been established.
4. Once these steps have been completed, and the link to your funding account is working, we will complete the transfer of your initial deposit amount into your new Bridgeview Bank account.
